My course into the blue

What I am telling is my course into the blue: a journey that began as a passion and became a profession, which today drives me to share the milestones and discoveries of this path.

I began my professional career in 1993 working as a PADI Divemaster at the Tiran Diving Center in Sharm el Sheikh.
Between 1995 and 1998, I was the SSI, Scuba Schools International, Regional Training Director for Egypt. Among the tasks was affiliating new diving centers, maintaining relationships with existing ones, and controlling the quality of services of instructors and diving centers.

It was an educationally dense period, during which, as an SSI Instructor Trainer and Evaluator, I trained and evaluated hundreds of new instructors.

Upon returning to Italy, between 1999 and 2009, I held a similar role in Milan for the emerging dive training agency NASE Italia.
In addition to creating and developing all the training materials (for both students and instructors), my responsibilities also included, among other things, managing relationships with Clubs, Shops, and Dive Centers, and organizing the EUDI Shows.

Concurrently, in the early 2000s, I co-founded the company “Seawarlocks,” active in the Maldivian tourism sector with the management of boats dedicated to diving cruises. Among these, our flagship M/Y was the Island Warlock, aboard which I gained significant experience in Maldivian waters.

Today I work professionally in sports, teaching in my CrossFit Box.
However, the passion for the sea does not abandon me and in my free time I teach SSI courses at Jolly Roger WSE.

Furthermore, in collaboration with Mastro Sommerso, I organize diving liveaboards to the Maldives and Red Sea, planning unique itineraries thanks to my extensive experience and creativity.

For some years now, using a GoPro, I have combined the passion for diving with that for video recording. Experience has allowed me to refine the technique, a journey that was awarded second place in the “Smart&Action” Video Competition of the EUDI Show 2025 edition.
An award that now motivates me to share, through this site, the strategies and skills I’ve developed.
