GoPro: Charging challenge.

As anticipated in the previous article, the time has come to field-test the charging times of GoPro batteries. Which will be faster between the old Enduro and the new 1900 mAh battery for the Hero13?
To perform this comparison, I used the same three batteries featured in the duration test, which were therefore already at 0% at the end of the previous trial.
In order to eliminate the possibility that the charger used for the 11 and 12 models might be underperforming due to wear and tear, I used different chargers for each battery. The entire setup was then connected, using the original GoPro cables, to the power strip I use during my liveaboards.

The first to fully charge is an old Enduro battery: the green light turns on after 1 hour and 45 minutes, followed by the second Enduro at 1 hour and 52 minutes. To completely charge the new 1900 mAh battery, however, it takes a full 4 hours and 14 minutes.
This is a considerably long time to take into account when planning multiple repetitive dives. In such cases, it becomes necessary to organize yourself with at least three batteries per camera.

Beyond the timed results, one of the new features I appreciated about the Hero 13 is the battery charger, equipped with an indicator light system that allows you to intuitively monitor the charging progress.
This feature is very useful because, between dives, it is often difficult to know how far along the charge is. In the past, the aolution was the inconvenient procedure of stopping the charge and inserting the battery into the GoPro to check its level.
